We had such a great time on today's field trip! The kids LOVED the hands-on activities. As a teacher, I thought it was pretty cool at how well the lessons on today's field trip went right along with our second grade science curriculum! Here's what our trip entailed:
• A 45 minute astronomy program in the UNT Sky Theater
• A 45 minute simulated archaeological or Paleontological dig
• A 45 minute exploration of aquatic ecosystems
• A 25 minute scavenger hunt for facts about native Texas wildlife
• Up to 30 minutes exploring hands‐on challenges in our exhibit hall
• And of course about 20 minutes for lunch
